Very nice market where you can see a lot of interesting local tribes selling and buying variety of items.

Pretty cool market to go while in a boat tour! Very big and pretty local in some places. Try the tofu thing for lunch, it’s pretty delicious for 500 kyat :)

The biggest market around Inle Lake. Too many souvenior sellers to the tourists nowadays. But it still charms with local Inthar and Pao tribes in their colorful outfits.

Arrived at market by boat at around 7am, went into the cafe ordered tea and freshly cooked donuts, we were the only westerners there and no one took the slightest notice of us. Wandered around for about an hour buying souvenirs like old Myanmar currency and local clothing. We left just as all the other tourist arrived. Go early to catch the sunrise and try the donuts

Innthar market day is held yearly at this place. In rainy season, the water level of Innlay lake raise up and most area of Nanpan usually flood. There are also boats available at this place to look around on the Innlay lake.
