Although a few shops are operating every day, Major Market Day "ဈေးနေ့" is only once after every 5 days. In locals term, it is called "၅ရက် တစ်ဈေး" or "ဈေးပတ်".

This market is always close on Monday. This is crowded on Friday evening because government staffs come bus stations to go back home town, Yangon, Mandalay, etc.
