  A large reclining Buddha, of only relatively recent construction, is not unique but this one is huge. Is it worth visiting when the 'real deal' is a couple of hundred metres away? No

  Although this Buddha still don't have the roof top, but I like this more. Feel that he's connecting with the god in the sky. And don't have any collar to block the whole body of it

  Finished in 2006, no roof yet. Good place to stop by and take photos.

  Mya Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha is quite close to Shwe Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha. This one does not have a roof yet. Donations are being collected to build a roof over this Buddha. Please donate when you are there.

  It's a very pretty Buddha (and bigger than the other reclining one nearby) but it was made recently completely out of concrete. There's nothing particularly significant about it except you can get some good photos with the lake in them.
  Still, it's free and easy to get to so worth stopping at if you're passing by.
