Staying in Nyaung-u for three nights we got suckered into a TripAdvisor recommended restaurant on our first night. Luckily on our second day while wandering around we stumbled on this undiscovered gem of a family restaurant .
I don't know what was more impressive, the heart warming service of the staff (who must be members of the same family ) or the mouth watering delicious food.
Do get the crispy fish with chillies it is out of this world , so is the Burmese chicken curry and last but not least the enormous sweet river shrimp that taste just like lobster.
The prices are more than reasonable so feel free to order a bit of everything. I regret not having access to this place for the rest of.our trip!

Nice place and friendly service but I was a little bit desapointed by the Myanmar menu. The curry was great, tastefull and spicy but there was less side dishes then in other places.

Simple place for a lunch break. Owner's daughter speaks English and some French. We ate vegetarian and that's what i recommend. Had watermelon juice no ice no sugar which was good.
