Upscale restaurant with great view over the river. The menu has a good range of starters and mains with a couple of European options if you're not into Myanmar / Asian food. Also has an extensive list of wines (inclusive Burmese ones) although I haven't tried it. Mains avg 8k to 10k with 12k set menu that will play out much cheaper than the a la carte equivalent (the most economic mains start at 5k).
I've been here for luck having the chicken satay and pad thai with fruit juice. The service was fast (although the place was quite empty) and both the food and juice super tasty. You can eat cheaper but given the views and service I think prices are reasonable. You can also get live music depending what time you attend. Recommended

We had walked past this place earlier in the day and it stood out as the only decent looking restaurant along the road adjacent to the river.
Went back in the evening, a few tourist busses should has been a good sign, but in the end just so so. The game of asking if we had a booking when the place was nearly empty was a little amusing.
It would be interesting to come back here in 10 years, and see what has developed
