Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue is the last remaining Jewish house of worship in Downtown Yangon and Burma's only synagogue. The synagogue stands between Indian paint shops and Muslim traders on a small street near the city centre. A plaque at the entrance of the building states that the present stone building, which was built between 1893 – 1896, replaced an earlier, smaller wooden structure that was erected in 1854. It is one of 188 sites on the Yangon City Development Council’s list of Heritage Buildings. It serves the few remaining Jews of the country, mostly descendants of Baghdadi Jews from Iraq. The current building was completed in 1896. The neighborhood is now primarily Muslim.

Interesting the fact to see the synagogue in Myanmar, but nothing special from architectual point of view. The doorman was very helpful.

Worth visiting, especially for Jurish people.
Only 24 families group of jurish blood related people live in Myanmar.
They are genius people: former majar general Able, who acted as minister of trade in Myanmar.

Built in 1893-96 . The remaining two Torahs in the Synagogue are originally from Baghdad and over 100 year old.

Went to the outside but got
There at 330 after it has closed. I was only in Yangon for an afternoon but would love to check it out if i come back. I was told after the fact to email shalom Myanmar to ensure its open. The posted sign says mon-sat 9:30-2:30
