All the basics for the travellers. The cheapest place in town, so it does attract a few of the weirdos. The staff is friendly and the facilities are decent. Low budget travellers, otherwise known as stamp collectors, move in and out very quickly. Got to get as many destinations ticked off with the least amount of money. This means you will be hearing a lot of the same stories about where people have been and will be going next, but very little about the here and now. And that's kind of sad

Incredibly cheap hostel; you get what you pay for. Before arriving I was wondering if they could even make a profit with their price (~$6 USD per night with breakfast), but after having been there I realize they have a healthy margin. The staff is friendly but speaks very little English (even compared to the national standards), the bathrooms are a notch above a highway stop, and there is no door to separate the front desk from the bed pods. This makes for interesting eavesdropping, but is nuisance when you are trying to sleep and there is a 24 hour reception.
Recommended only for the most price sensitive among budget travelers and only for short stays (best if you can avoid showering).response / report this review -

Great experience at this hostel. In beetween a dorm and a hostel with single rooms, you can take advantage of the price of the dorm and the privacy of a room. The place is clean and everything works as described. Personnel is really friendly and help you with anything you need.

Arriving in Myanmar and taking a look around, you can expect the average accommodation could be less clean and comfortable than other South Asia countries (don't get me wrong, I am loving Myanmar more than others), so this hostel is a surprise. Super nice staff at arrival, the main room has beds like a beehive, quiet and very clean, bathroom included. Near beds there is a couple of small tables for sharing words with others hosts and a small balcony at 9th floor, even if air con suggests to stay inside. I can only say good things, except the list of services supplied, which includes a bike rental but they had no idea how to get it, maybe because bikes are not allowed in downtown Yangon.
