It is pretty popular hotel. Bcz it is really cost-efficient budget hôtel. Nice and well maintained pool.(not many of hôtels in Nyuang Shwe would have a proper pool)
Nice and simple free breakfast - egg, toast pancake, banana and coffee or tea.
Helpful staff(they are strict for the Check out Time, though)
Standard room is pretty good. No need airconditioner on Feb. I would book here again next time.
The pool area was quiet nice, not big, with a lot of plants and the breakfast was really good. We stayed in the cheaper standard rooms which was clean, but quiet dark, cold and worn. The more expensive rooms at the pool side seems more nice and newer.
Their was no aircondition in the room but it was okay in february.
The WiFi internet was good. The staff was while we stayed friendly and helpful.
You can rent an old and worn bike at the hotel for 1500 kyats. Beaware their are no lights if you go home from some where after sunset.
Their were a lot of warning signs around the hotel 😃 like dont bring other guest to your room.
The hotel arranged a boattour for us. It was early in the morning (5 am) it was great going so early and the first part of the tour was 5 stars the last part where we for hours went around visiting touristy handcraft workshops and pagodas we did not care for. The boattour was 25.000. The hotel made us some breakfast we could bring. That was really nice!
Overall it was a good/okay places to stay. The day we left they checked us out of the rooms 10.30 pm while we were out on a short walk. We did not ask for it. It says on all the signs that you first have to check out at 11.00 pm. So a bit disapointed about that cause we found our luggage in the hall. We were allowed to wait at the entrance room until our taxi came. Appriciated that.
The lady at the desk is very nice and helpful nice swimming pool
Nothing to complain about.
The swimming pool is nice and open until 7pm, although too chilly for after 5 pm. Perfect temperature for the day time to cool off, with many lounge chairs available in the sun or shade.
The room is nice and private and the bed is comfortable.
It's in a good location to walk around town.
Offered different night bus options, and had a cheaper option for the same service. We paid 20,000 kyat for a VIP night bus to Yangon compared to 26,000-28,000 from the other night bus companies. Not sure how much travel agencies charge, but this seemed like a good price booking directly from our hotel.
Staff are very friendly and most understand English quite well.
Offer laundry service for 3,000 kyat per kilogram.
I booked a standard double room with private bathroom (around $25 high season)
+ Swimming pool
+ Excellent breakfast with real coffee
+ Room cleaned every day
+ WiFi correct, hot water
- Blanket and sheets too short
Very cozy hotel with really helpful and smiling staff. After 2 trekking days from Kalaw, the swimingpool is kind of paradise. Breakfast is great and the rooms are clean. The price was reduced 60% because it was low season. In my opinion, the normal price is quite too high.
Little gem of a family run hotel. Great rooms and a very inviting pool, perfect for cooling off after a long day of exploring the lake.
If your going to Inle Lake this place is a winner. Book the rooms near the pool and you can't go wrong. I want to return.
Very friendly staff, nice swimming pool. Very good breakfast.
We had a twin room in the back for 30$ per night. Worth every penny. Very spatious and clean, very nice service bringing lemon juice to the room without ordering and cleaning + replacing towels daily. The breakfast is also delicious and complete compared to others we have had in myanmar. Plus the nice swimming pool. 5 stars for us, no doubt.
Not the best value in the area - standard rooms were dark and musty, had to change rooms due to a broken toilet. The junior suites may be nicer, but are twice the price.
That said, the pool looked nice (water was quite cold), the staff were helpful and the breakfast was pretty good.
