Very quiet and unassuming pagoda tucked a few hundred yards away from the highway. When I visited there were only a few others visitors (just how I like it) and it was nice to hear some of the local birds instead of car horns. The memorial to the Queen is well kept and in tune with the rest of the pagoda; not too showy or flamboyant but very fitting.

To be honest, I really don't know the history of building this in Kyaikkalo pagoda which is situated in Mingaladon township in Yangon. But I knew her from our middle school history book. She is really gorgeous!!!
