This is up pretty high on the list of the worst Indian food I've had in Myanmar.
1. Service is bad. The waitress is careless, dumped food in our laps, broke a plate, etc.
2. Food is not clean. The child of the owner was licking the ladle the owner was cooking with in between her using it. The restaurant is also not cleanly either. So yeah, pretty disgusting
3. The food is pretty tasteless overall, bland, spicy, kidney paining oily, and poor selection.
I would probably never come here again.
I have never been to Southern India, but I guess the food there must be better than May's. Like most food in Myanmar, this was unexciting and bland. Overcooked rice and vegetables are served at room temperature, and so is the meat.
This place is wonderful. It was suggested by my guesthouse. A platter with rice and some curries along with some chicken/vegetables/beef ranges from 1,500-2,000
local restaurant, a bit pricey, with less cleanness on the other side rooms. crowded, but food and curry are really tasty and fresh: especially meat are well cooked.
Good food served with a variety of accompanying dishes. Choice remains basic (either chicken or fish, mutton or vegetarian).
