  What a maestro. I had a wonderful experience with Master Shan, he helped me decide about the design and made some adjustments to make it unique. Top class artist and person, totally recommend it.

  Master artist, handpoke beauty. Shan Lay did a small Burmese kamote design, a work of art and memory to cherish Mandalay. Studio is hidden off the Main Street, just follow Google map direction and ask the helpful locals. Mr Shan does not speak English, if his Son is around, he can help translate.

  I had a bamboo tattoo done here together with a friend and I can really recommend the place. The owner have been done tattoos all his life and you can see he really knows his job. The staff is really kind and friendly. You should definitely pop by and get a bamboo tattoo!

  Very good traditional bamboo tattoo, at very reasonable prices. Tattoo master's children (boy & girl in mid twenties) both speak good English and everyone is very friendly. They even gave us a freshly sliced mango! The people working there have some incredible tattoos and they won an award in 2016 for the best tattoos in Myanmar (on the wall upstairs). Hidden gem!
