This is the place where a monastery existed at the top of Mount Lwal Pyar, which is located in Southern Shan State of Myanmar. The mountain is at the entrance of the beautiful town, Pin Laung, where Shan and Pa-Oh people reside. Pin Laung is famous for its main product, Green Tea (ေရႊဖီမိုးလြတ္ လက္ဖက္ေျခာက္). Mount Lwal Pyar itself is a green tea forest and the gorgeous viewpoint of the town either. People who live there are very friendly and generous.
