Happy
Poor facilities!
Good budget hotel with easy access location to downtown.
Not a bad place for Bussiness travel.
Should for low budget stay
It's ok
This is a basic hotel but is excellent for the price. It is in a great location and the staff are tremendous. I have found them honest, pleasant and accommodating.
Ok
Great service and nice environment
Finding a reasonably priced hotel in Yangon is very difficult. Way harder than I thought it would be. The hotels have increased their prices almost double and many budget hotels don't have electricity throughout the day. I was supposed to be picked up at the airport by another hotel but they never showed. I found a taxi driver that brought me to a couple of places and finally to Hotel Yoma. There was no A/C in the taxi so I just needed some place that had air conditioning and a shower without being so expensive. Yoma hotel seemed to be a nice place but there are some things quite odd. I am just a bit over 6 feet tall and my room's ceiling is about 5'8" I can't stand up straight in my room because the ceiling is way too low. They also advertise 'free wifi' but it is almost useless because the speeds are slower then a 1990 cell phonebetter than nothing though. I got this room for $25 and will wait for the morning to see how the 'free' breakfast is. They also said they will move me to a new room tomorrow. Pretty nice people here, clean rooms with clean towels, soap, shampoo and even a toothbrush set.
