Best hotel in Taunggoke . With every supplements, good service . Variety of break fast . One thing is air con is not cold . Clean and good bed.

Nice surprise to find this sparkling clean new hotel in Taunggok, when I was afraid all I’d find in town were squalid guesthouses. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was reasonably priced and spotlessly clean, with hot water that’s actually HOT, a small fridge, and a decent TV. Bed is quite comfortable. At least one of the staff speaks quite good English, kind of surprising for a town that obviously sees few “nainganchatha” (foreigners). Breakfast was included in my room price (30,000 K plus 1,000 K tax).

Very kind to me, this hotel is near the bus station, and comfortable to Western standards, tho anodyne. I didn't try the breakfast because local eating places excellent. But I'll go back here. Lovely quiet main street, busy market by the river, tiny shops like this rice shop. Very friendly - travellers rarely stop here. Yoma Yazar bus company manager is hugely knowledgeable about the area and how to get to your next place. Enjoy!

Normal hotel with fair price.
It was located among house without compound.
Breakfast are normally fried rice and fried noodle sometimes, local soup (Rakhine Rice noodle) (plus juice/instant coffee).

Hotel Taungoke was opened recently. Hotel room prices are normal ranging from around 30000 to 65000 kyats, but hotel room service is not in satisfactory level. There is less options for breakfast.

Pretty good place to stay, but expensive compared to the same facility hotels in Myanmar. Double 30USD.
