Green Elephant is closed. The location is changed to other restaurant. Serving Thai, chinese, myammar, italian food. Food is ok. A bit expensive in Bagan standard. A bit too many flies.
Decent food and nice environment.
Expensive and not really good to be honest.
The location it's really beautiful, that's why we decided to have dinner here. They told us that they accept credit card, when it's time to pay the bill they told that they accept only cash, but that we can use their ATM ( 5$ commission).
The prices are so high and the food it's not so good.
It's our first night in Myammar and wanted something close to our hotel (it was a mile or two away). The Place was empty which was not a good sign. We are vegetarians and they had a very large array of vegetarian food plus they said they can make anything vegetarian. We ordered the spring rolls to start and yes they were on the greasy side.. But the filling was quite good and we ended up eating them all so they were obviously not inedible.. We then ordered the tea leaf salad, coconut rice, an eggplant dish and duck egg curry.. All pretty satisfyingParticularly the duck egg curry.. I wouldn't necessarily go back on this trip, only because I want to
Try more fare.. But unless all the other restaurants were super duper delicious, and just head and shoulders above this one I would definitely return if I came back to Yangon
The food is good but very slow service.
Please do not go here. Staff is lazy and impolite. Food is not nice.
A tour guide recommended this restaurant, but it is certainly not worth visiting.
