  Well organise for the trekking and other services , such as taxi , bus ticket etc . Not too far from most of the Hotel , Motel and Inn .

  We used Excellent Trekking Services for our two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake after a referral from a tourism guide in Bagan. Having read and found nothing about Excellent Trekking Services previously, we were pleasantly surprised that our trekking experience was literally excellent. Our guide, Kyaw Kyaw (pronounced Cho Cho), was not only knowledgeable and extremely accommodating, but it was clear that he was an experienced trekker that knew every bit of the terrain between Kalaw and Inle and was also quite well known but many of the locals in the rural villages in between. His English was quite good and he showed us everything from local customs to the agricultural history of the Shan state (occasionally digging up ginger root, sesame seeds and lentils for our amusement).
  
  As our trek took place during the high vacation season in Myanmar, there was a plethora of other trekking groups that took off in and around the same time as our journey. To give us a unique experience untainted by the other larger groups of tourists making this trek as well, Kyaw Kyaw took us through little-known backcountry routes that took us through villages that did not receive the usual vat of tourists and were therefore excited to greet and interact with us. During our break times, Kyaw Kyaw worked tirelessly on the preparation of our meals and snacks (including a restaurant quality avocado salad that rivalled among the best I've had). At our homestay during the overnight, Kyaw Kyaw's obvious closeness with the village chief and his family made our experience With this traditional local village undoubtedly different from all the other tourists staying there. After dinner, my friend and I sat with Kyaw Kaye, the village chief and his son-in-law as we smoked Bamars and laughed the night away.
  
  When we arrived in Inle, we insisted that Kyaw Kyaw did not need to send us all the way to the hotel after such a long trek, but he did so anyway. Upon arrival at our hotel, we discovered that our luggage was sent to the wrong hotel but a quick phone call from Kyaw Kyaw resolved the hotel they had accidentally been sent to and he arranged to have them brought over within minutes.
  
  Despite his services being top-notch, we found Kyaw Kyaw's prices more reasonable than all other guides we looked at and, perhaps most importantly, that his pricing was inclusive of all miscellaneous costs incurred during the journey (such as the boat cost from Tong Ye to Inle Lake at the end of the journey, all the meal ingredients, as well as all the snack/tea costs in the rural village stops ).
  
  Lastly, the cherry on top of an already perfectly baked cake was that our bus from Bagan arrived in Kalaw at 2 in the morning and, because we were trekking out the next morning at 9, Kyaw Kyaw offered to let us sleep in his modest shop instead of having to pay an extra nights hotel stay for 6 hours.
  
  In summary, if you are planning to trek from Kalaw to Inle, ensure you get an "excellent" experience by using Kyaw Kyaw from Excellent Trekking Services!
