The station that serves the market and also acts as an overflow to the market.

Quite chaotic. Have not seen another foreigner here. Everyone smiling at us. People sat on the tracks.

Covered seating area, though I would not want to be here in the rain.

This is a one time visit when you are in Yangon.

You must not miss this! It's a local fresh food market. Will not be pleasant at times but it is eye opening. Parts of the market are dark and they smell. Walkways are not properly paved and locals can get pushy BUT are very friendly towards foreigners. Here you can catch a glimpse of nor-so-common fruits/veggies and even get them at fair prices. Highly recommended! It's a midway mark of the train ride anyway, just hop off! It's crazy but it's worth it.

環状線のパガン方面への分岐駅。駅の傍らの市場が収まりきらずにホームまで溢れてしまっていて、活気に満ちた駅です。仕入れを済ませた皆さんが沢山乗り込んできて、車内で荷分けが始まります。
