  Having read lauding reviews, I headed to Club Terrace for lunch after half a day of cycling.
  The menu is extensive but my coconut and basil chicken curry (5500 kyat) did not taste neither of coconut nor basil. The tomato salad satisfied the palate a bit better (2500 kyat). The rice was to be paid for separately.
  The staff were doing their best but none of them spoke good English.
  The toilets were in an abhorrent state. The rest of the house is interesting but does not inspire much awe.
  Overall not bad but I've had more genuine food experiences for a much lower price elsewhere.

  I'm from Italy. I visited many restaurants in Myanmar. I found here the best one. Amazing service and awesome food. Congratulation to the chief.

  Absolutely superb food, service, prices and building.
  
  Last night we had one of the stand-out meals of our 5 months in Asia at this restaurant. Firstly, the colonial, mock-Tudor style clubhouse is a beautiful building. Walking in you feel like your entering a building steeped with history from the days of the British-rule of Burma and thoughts quickly turned to the clubhouse in Orwell's Burmese Days. Thankfully times have now changed and there were several Myanmar people enjoying the restaurant and setting also. The interior has lots of good local art depicting scenes and sights of Myanmar. Outside the building was the pleasant terrace, however, it being November we didn't spend any time out there.
  
  The waitress that greeted and served us was very polite and spoke excellent English making our entire experience very pleasant. Her attention to detail was exceptional and included placing napkins on our laps, replenishing our rice when we were getting low, and keeping us well refreshed throughout the evening. Whilst our evening would have been lovely without these touches, it showed that she valued our custom and wanted to help us have a great dining experience.
  
  The stand out dishes that we ate were the sweet and sour pork, which was a perfect balance of both with a slight fiery kick thanks to the ginger; chicken vermicelli, which was yadashideh (delicious); and the sour and spicy potatoes, which were served in a tangy rich sauce and had plenty of spice at the "little spice" option. We also had delicious Cool Collins mocktails, which with added local gin turned in to the most refreshing, well-balanced mojito-style cocktails.
  
  The four of us enjoyed this decadent experience for 40'000 kyat which seemed like a steal for the quality of food, service and ambience. My only regret is that we didn't visit this restaurant on our first night in Pyin Oo Lwin as well!

  An absolutely exquisite dining experience. This is by far the best restaurant we have visited in Myanmar. The food, ambience, service and even pricing was outstanding.
  The staff are extremely attentive and professional and all the dishes we tried we very tasty and came as huge portions.
  The decor of this old club house makes it the ideal place to fully enjoy the colonial era architecture of Pyin Oo Lwin.
