A chic, discreet cocktail bar tucked away in the small lanes of Yangon. Great finger food, infused gins, burmese rum, and magnificent cocktails. Perfect for late night chats or a dim rendezvous!
Got there early for happy hour. Lounge bar vibe. Classy. Seems like it might get busy later. Good music and nice artwork. Discount on whisky on Wednesdays.
A favourite. Great drinks and vibe. I like the new venue, too!
The blind tiger is a really chique and western place to go for drinks and snacks. It's a little more expensive than other places in Yangon, but the food and drinks we had there were fantastic! I really recommend the quesadillas! They were so good we ordered a second plate! The music they played was very good as well!
Great ambience, excellent drinks - I tried the chillie margaritas, which had really nice kick - and yummy nibbles - we loved it
Camouflaged very well amongst the hustle and bustle, this was one of our unexpected finds. It feels like you’re at a speakeasy in a western country which has its positives but definitely didn’t feel like authentic Myanmar. We had the grilled buttermilk fish on skewers (trying to go local) and some french fries (not so local) and both were cooked to perfection! The vibes were very cosmopolitan, a little romantic and makes for a nice temporary escape from the big city.
The best place in Yangon for cocktails. Really friendly staff.
Daily happy hour (up to 19:00) have all night wiskhy promotion every Wednesday
From the outside the street seems quiet and innocuous. The bar itself, lit by a neon sign from the outside seems quietly tucked away and hidden. The charm of Hidden Tiger is in the excitement in opening the heavy and inconspicuous door which transports you from a quiet, empty and dimly lit Yangon street into an exciting bar which bears decor similar to a 1920s style speakeasy but with a Chinesesque flare.
The bar is cosy and fun although a bit on the expensive side. The menu caters to many interests from cocktails to wine to beer. The music, while modern can be quite loud impairing conversation at times.
A good bar for small groups of people. Recommended if you want to experience a change from Yangon's beer stations. All in all, guaranteed to be a fun experience going back in time, even if only for a couple of hours.
A little slow when I was here around 1
9 pm, but the Myanmar brew is excellent as are the dry pork ribs. Love them.. Friendly staff and patrons.
Good music and cocktails. If you want cozy place and pop music you should be here.
I love this place becoz my gf is working here
We loved the Blind Tiger. The atmosphere coupled with stunning cocktails, beautiful service and delicious food meant we never wanted to leave. Highly recommend.
Nice venue but was a bit quiet when I was there. Be brave and open the door.
Nice hamburger, Very good myanmar draft beer. A little bit pricy, but good for last night in Myanmar, if you wanna end up with your trip in here.
They've got Myanmar draft beer and Myanmar rum for 3000 (quite good) and lots of foreign whiskies. Also the spicy peanuts they bring with a drink are crazily addictive. The burger was just okay, but not excellent. The bun was bland and chewy, and there was a thumb-sized piece of bacon on it. I'd suggest asking for it without the sugary (and messy) onion sauce. I also tried the Thai green curry wings, which I wouldn't order again; they're somewhat tendony and had a tablespoon-worth of bland green sauce on them.
Good music, tapas, and drinks.
Love this place. Peace and quiet. Good cocktails
Great atmosphere. The Blind Tiger (when you find it) will quickly become one of your favorite haunts in Yangon. Good menu with a week reviewed burger.
Love the interior deco, good wall paintings hanging out there. The drinks and food is good, could add a bit more to the portions for the price, but thats the foodie in me. Good place to hangout if in a big group.
Definitely the best burger I've had in Myanmar and nice house cut fries to go along with it. There's no sign outside, but if the neon tiger paw in the window is not enough then you can easily identify them by the tiger eyes painted over the door. But when you find them you can't just walk in, you have to knock and be let in.
They are pretending to be a speakeasy or underground bar but they will let anyone who knocks in.
This is their new location and it looks almost identical to the old location near the park royal hotel.
A little pricey and the juice costs more than beer but its worth a visit of you like burgers or good cocktails.
