Nice terrace view. Local's chicken curry Shan style was delicious. Pumpkin soup was very nice as well. They accept Visa and MasterCard.

New Moon festival meant banks were closed. I asked if I could pay with master card or $US and they said they would take $US. When it came to pay, the exchange rate was 1000 kyat to the dollars. After complaining, it was improved to 1200kyat to $1US. My fault, I should have asked for the exchange rate as scammers will always take advantage. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. ( The official rate was around 1360 kyat to the dollar which you will get at the banks.)

A really well run and pleasant restaurant, with an open 2nd floor with great views. For a place that stands out for its great style the food prices are not expensive and delicious, and the staff are great. Would go again!

The cocktails are perfect. Love the decor of restaurant and cozy. The recommended food and drinks from staff are truly beautiful. Reservation is recommended for peak season. I love the vibe of Beyond Taste

Let me just say the chef here CAN cook! Absolutely one of the best meals I have had since arriving in Myanmar this isn't a hawker type place. It's a sit down dining experience, especially on the second floor with views of the surrounding. Back to the food we ordered grilled prawn dish, lentil soup, vegetable curry, and vegetable fried noodles and all 4 were excellent with a Burmese flavor! Price is very reasonable by western standards where the dishes ranges from 2000-8500 kyats.

Solid local food options. Staff also friendly and willing to strike up a conversation. Restaurant also located close to Lavender spa so you can get a massage before or after your meal.
