Absolutely the best you will find, maybe ever. Outrageously good food, great prices, and unbeatable service and atmosphere. Do NOT miss it.
Definitely the best restaurant in a town. My sister lives in Myanmar for two years, she said that never tried so good Burmese food
Delicious - It was one of my best experiences in Myanmar :)
This was my first coming class and i liked it very much, the nice way they use to teach you is very good. The difference kind of food we prepared was then our lunch and everything was excellent and super tasty. It takes you 2,5 hours until your finished. I can completely recommend it.
Btw they have even a restaurant at the first floor. A dinner there is a must.
A brilliant experience! You visit the local market to buy the ingredients for your meals. The cooking class itself is very structured and clear. After the class, everyone eats together so you can try all the different delicious meals. Don't miss this wonderful cooking class in Inle!
Brilliant. Friendly family run place. Great cooking class and food, lots of it
Very nice people here and a fun experience. Cooked some really tasty dishes and everyone shares at the end so you can try different dishes.
Excellent market tour and cooking class with Leslie, a must if you visit Inle Lake. You learn a lot about the local culture, the ingredients and the cooking techniques.
Really enjoyed the cooking this cooking class. Learned great dishes and had a fun time. Sue and Lesley are the friendliest couple and really try to help their community forward with their foundation and summer school. If you have the chance book one of their two rooms, they looked absolutely stunning.
What a great place for learning how to cook Burmese food. Sue & Lesley are just two wonderful persons who do this with real passion. We booked the cooking class just the evening before by walking to their place and it was no problem. Even we had about 12 people in one cooking class it was a great experience. They have also a great staff who takes care of you. You'd better go to the morning class (9am-1.30pm) as you will go to the local market together. The evening class is only cooking. (5-8pm!?)
The price is 20.000kyat and they spent 15% of it to a charity organization for kids. So if you can, bring some useful things for children which you can donate. This place is highly recommend!
It was so amazing! Aslhey and his wife Sue are nice, professional and honest people.we slept and have dinner in his cooking school. Food was excellent. A lot of choice there, and you can not compare with what you find in the town.i strongly reccomed to try Burma food here.
While I did not go got a cooking class here I used Sue's assistance in getting a boat (the 3rd time I did so in Inle Lake) and bus tickets, they were so helpful and they immediately give the best price available - even during the festival where I was quoted 3 times as much in other places and the best price I managed to haggle at the jetty itself was still 5k higher.
Sue was very kind and helpful, and just gave a very trustworthy feeling. Definitely would recommend.
Amazing people! It was a pleasure to spend some times with them and learn some Burmese recipes!
