Silent and lovely place. I think if you use as weekend gateway this hotel is the best. The staffs are very helpful. Large car parking and it is a little difficult to find. The breakfast menu is a liitle and European Food only.

My friend and I were looking for a budget friendly accommodation in Nyaung Shwe as we explore the famous Inle lake destination. This hotel is 1-2 star hotel (with that being said, if you are looking for a fancy ambience, fancy food, fancy room then you gotta be booking with Best Western). This hotel provides the basic amenities: clean, comfortable beds, decent room and bathroom, decent breakfast (omelette, fruits, coffee, toast). This hotel charging for this amount, I personally think it's fair and just.
I would like to special mention all the wonderful staff who took care of us during our stay. You were all wonderful for 1. The fast check in procedure 2. Arranging our day tour in Inle Lake (the boat guy is really wonderful and kind; i forget to ask for his name!!) 3. For booking our bus tickets to Yangon with Full Moon travels 4. For arranging our shuttle service to the bus station.
One thing i had issues in the room is their a/c-- it won't turn on. We realized that at 4:30am. But at the time, the temperature was 17 C so we didn't mind having no A/C. I completely forgot to mention it to front desk staff in the morning as we had to leave early for our day tour. Soon as we came back, we checked out right away.response / report this review -

This hotel is very good. The bungalows are placed between banana trees and palms and they are clean and there is enough shelf space, the bathroom is large. It is very close to the main road with shops, restaurants and bike rentals. They also serve delicious breakfast (egg omelette with bread, fruits and fruit juice) and there is TV with English BBC channell turned on in the breakfast area. The staff was so kind to let us check in early (about 5 AM, when we arrived with the overnight bus) and we didn't have to pay for the extra night. They also provide boat tour on Inle lake, but I have to admit that our boat driver was a little bit pushy - on the Inle lake he made stops at some places we didn't want to visit (tourists scams such as some restaurants and sewing factory) and didn't speak English so it was hard to explain him that we would like to go to Inn Dein.

Nice quiet place with really good price. (Included breakfast!!) Near to restaurants, 10 mins walk to market and about 15 mins walk to jetty.
Downside was my bedsheet was stained, there were (big) ants in the bathroom.response / report this review -

We expected the Gecko in our room to take care of the ants, spiders and the many mosquitos maybe he was too lazy, since the AC wasn't working (although we told them several times). I-net was ok (maybe cause of off-season and there were hardly any guests). Breakfast is nothing special. But for just 7.50$ you get away cheaper than in some hostels and therefore we were ok with it.

Amazing value for money! This place was like a resort. And only $7 each for 2 people in a private twin room. Very spacious rooms. Own bathrooms. Staff were SO sweet. Limited English but who cares. If you stay here, I recommend the puppet show down the road!
