Very calm and serene area to while away the hours. Breakfast is delicious and very good value. One of the few places in Yangon where you can escape air conditioning. Popular on Sundays. Recommended

Nice atmosphere.
Price: 15-25 USD/pax
Local beef stake with black pepper source is always good and my favorite, as cooked nicely, tasty and softly.

A very nice place to visit in the Golden Valley. The two French ladies that run the place are professional, kind, welcoming and fun, delicious food, great setting. Also a place to meet expats from NGO community etc

Avacado and greens salad was very good. I especially liked how they served my iced tea, as I love lots of ice and being an American like my refills. They gave me plenty.

Lovely setting at the outdoor but shady bar. Service is reportedly slow, but it was fine when I went. The appetizers we had were very tasty.

This is described as a french restaurant. The menu does not have much(or any) french dishes. I had a morocan mutton/lamb tasjine. The meat were some kind of a patty not slow cooked proper meat and only 3 small pieces. The dish was very bad. Deffinately not moroccon, rather a bad stew with almost no meat with couscous. The patatoes and carrots were really bad. No moroccan ingredients such as: saffron, dates, almonds, etc. I would not refer anyone to go there. Very expensive for bad food. The waiters are unfriendly so it was bad in more than one way

Great place for breakfast while you're in town. The crepes are wonderful as is the fresh juice. The bread basket is a bit of a letdown, but if you steer clear of that you'll enjoy both your meal and the really lovely shaded veranda it's served under.

Lovely natural environment to sit and eat. Prices could be reviewed, food good, some dishes could be reinvented and improvised for the prices charged. The low sitting area is a good place to get if a group of 4 or more allows you to chillax!

Excellent food in an old world outdoor covered dining area. It is surrounded by trees and you feel like you are in a Jungle hideaway especially when he heavens open and the rain pours down. It isn't the cheapest place to eat in the area but it is a nice occasional place to meet friends and enjoy a few drinks and some great food.
We are told by people who have stayed there that the hotel itself is worth staying in too.response / report this review
