Did you know that in Africa there was a trade going on. Mali and other places in Africa traded one pound of gold for ine pound of salt. They needed salt because since there are so many deserts they sweat allot and need salt. Other people from the north want gold. But in past gold was NOT valuable for the africans salt was though.
