There are many ateliers around Segou for mud fabric. Each uses slightly different techniques and often very different designs.

I like them all but NDOMO is the best for two simple reasons. They have the widest selection of clothes in their store and they have the best presentation of the process. They even let us paint our own designs on scrap cloth as a souvenir.

It made the visit into a bit of childish fun.
