It is the perfect place for people that love animals. The entry fee is extremely small, and it is a lovely experience both for adults and kids.

The worst and the cheapest zoo experience I've ever had. The enclosures are too small and dirty for the animals. A lot of them went crazy because of the small place they have for living. Everything is dirty and/or broken. The only thing I gave 2 stars is because it's unbelievably cheap(less than 1€) and the bears and giraffes are looking great. For all the other animals I feel sorry. Really sorry.

Great place if you want to subject yourself to cruelty. Not clean, not big enough, wrong climates, seems like no conservation work is done, depressed animals, I could go on just overall a very backwards place and if you think paying a euro justifies a visit to a prison, then this is the place for you. Please don't fund this.

The animals look well taken care of,especially the lemurs which I think are the most fun ones. The zoo is constantly upgrading,building new and improved enclosures and it has grown so much in the past years,so it is so much better that it used to be.

The ZOO is a good idea how to spend time in Skopje. The areal is big, whole visit takes around 2-3 hours. Admission is very cheap 1-2€ per person, you can pay only with denarius - 100 den. There are a lot of animals, but the whole ZOO looks very neglected and scary even.

Been there last week.as soon as you enter you can see that this zoo is not mantained well. Lot of the animals were closed and cannot be seen. Near the bears there were rats. The animals were not cleaned it's like nobody take care of them.

The zoo just keeps getting better and better! It is a wonderful place to spend a nice sunny day, and since it is very reasonably price, multiple visits are always a good option.

There are 3 cool girrafes here. Prices are not high. So you could drink coffee here on the open air

Very popular. Has a variety of animals: lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, monkeys, leopard, seal, etc. Currently building an elephant enclosure. Feels a little run down compared to more modern zoos, however, reasonable entry fee and great place to spend two hours with the kids

The best zoo in the Balkan region. Becoming even better after the elephant and the penguins arrive (very soon - the habitats are all ready built). Avoid the bar at the entrance search for the one near the Hippo

Honestly if I could give this zoo negative reviews I would. I was there around 4 days ago and the animals were malnourished, the cages were dirty and broken, and there was no fresh water. I am not going into how old anything was because that isn't my problem. My problem was how the animals were treated. There were rats everywhere. People were throwing their trash into the cages with the animals along with scraps of junk food. The bears there started to fight each other over food. I tried to get the people to stop but they didn't care. The toilets were a catastrophe. No toilet paper and the locks were broken and I was locked into the stall. The rest of the zoo was broken and a lot of cages were empty. The staff at the zoothey were unprofessional. One of the workers spoke English and I told her about the people throwing in trash and food to the animals. Her reply was "it's our culture". Ridiculous. She then proceeded to sit back with her colleagues and ignore me. They were all smoking and drinking beer. Honestly this zoo was pathetic and I feel bad for the animals. It should be shut down.

The place is great,the design is great,it has a lot of animals,and the staff takes really good care of them,and the best of all,it's cheap,you can buy a ticket for 1-2 dollars (it depends on your age)

It's fine and it's zoo so i think there's nothing to talk about, just ordinary zoo But still for the children it's amazing and interesting place and have enough wild animals from all over the world, so it's should be fun in the end!

The compartments in which animals live.. are just horrible. Instead of happy i went home being sorry for the conditions the animals live in.

Small zoo for an European capital but still very nice place to spend part of a sunny day. Number of animals is not high. Employes are enthusiasts. Price - cheap.
