Description
[SKP]popup store acts as a cultural promotion, of the current designer scene at the Balkans.
A point of progress and beauty can be observed in the designers` scene at the Balkans. In the recent years the scene is thriving. The reasons for this new energy in the designers’ scene are various. The young Balkan designers, not only draw their inspiration from the rich textile tradition in the country, but more importantly, they bring with them the imprint of their international experience. Most of their experience is moulded and enriched from their stay abroad. Most of them have studied and worked in the prime fashion centres of Europe (Milan, Paris etc).
[SKP]popup store would like to bring and show to the audience in Bern, the most exciting and innovative Macedonian designers who mix the contemporary and modern, with a local imprint and high quality in their work.
Events organised:
1. [SKP] popup store jointly with Studio Sansano in Kuturbüro Bern, in Dec 2014.
2. [SKP] popup store in collaboration with Carlos Fonseca presents you 'Portugal meets the Balkans' in May, Palanca , Zurich.
Open from 18th to 30th May, from 12 to 20h.
