Beautiful area to spend time with friends and family. There is plenty of delicious food available that is fairly priced. The monastery is beautiful to see and is definitely somewhere to go while you are in Macedonia.

Nice boat ride, ok-looking monastery, I guess. Nothing overly impressive. Nice restaurant. Peacocks are the biggest attraction, we got a video of two of them fighting! Don't expect too much, and you will come out not unhappy.

Located in the Ohrid Lake shore between border crossing with Albania and Macedonia. It's a very beautiful place to see with some nice views. It's between the forest and the Lake Ohrid and the monastery is well preserved. It was very crowded the day I went. I will recommend to see this place because you will enjoy the scenery.

It is truly A MUST SEE, and the peck cooks are the cherry on cake. I went here every time I went to Ohrid. I strongly recommend it. It is an historical place!

It's a must visit if you are in Ohrid, the view is stunning and it's very nice and clean. There are things to do outside the monastery like having a nice day at the beach, lunch at some of the restaurants, boat trip to the springs and nice small souvenirs shops.

Not being a religious person, I didn't go inside. However, the outside is incredibly impressive! Peacocks, waterfalls, streams and more. A great place to visit while at Saint Naum. Especially if you have kids or are looking for great nature shots.

The place is nice, but in this day and age they're still abusing animals. They paraded a small male goat around the church in the monastery with loud music, the goat was visibly scared and wasn't having it, then they tied it up put it in a wheel barrel, what a gruesome thing! Then the next group of people did the same and on an on it went.

Went by boat from Ohrid. The whole area is worth a visit. The little church, with frescoes, the three springs and the garden. It can be reached by road as well. There are three restaurants and a shopping area.

There are three main reasons to visit Sveti Naum: the monastery, the springs and the beach. Alone, each would be reason enough, but the whole us a great day out.
The beach and waterfront are very safe for children with very shallow water out to about ten metres.
The boat ride through the Springs is mesmerising with the crystal clear water.response / report this review -

Beautiful monastery. Personally i think it is a bit expensive to enter the church, maybe it is worth it. The view of the lake is beautiful. The place is full of peacocks.

Very nice place with a nice view of the lake and mountain Galicica. The food in the restaurant is great and personal is very kind and polite! Definitely great place to visit

Nice place. Restored recently, although done in the Byzantine style looks very new which it is and this spoils the experience. 4* for the effort to save the heritage.
