Three international running event's of 10KM and 3KM in Lipkovo (23/09/17), Staro Nagorichane (30/09/17) and Kumanovo (07/10/17).

Project 2020 CIC, Center for Intercultural Dialogue and OCSE Mission to Skopje together with Municipalities of Kumanovo, Staro Nagorichane, and Kumanovo are organizing the international running event's in which anyone can take part. The event will be organised by local people and volunteers from different countries (Macedonia, Italy, Wales (UK), Turkey and Greece).

The routes for each race will be published on 23/08/2017

The event is open for all ethnicities and ages.

You can also help as a volunteer in preparing and running the event, helping a big team of volunteers prepare this running event in North East Macedonia.

The event is free! Registraion before the race online however would help us a lot!

Born2Run, our flagship project in recent years, isn't simply about being active. Born2Run is a celebration of sport as a tool to empower communities and foster important everyday skills in our young participants. Unfortunately, this is not an opportunity everyone can share with us, so we ask our supporters to think of those stripped of their most basic freedom, upon which many others are built; the #RightToMovement. We stand firmly with organisations like Right To Movement Jerusalem are working every day to support those to whom running has become a powerful and resilient protest against continued occupation and oppression.

Born 2 Run: Kumanovo was the final event of the youth exchange 'Born 2 Run: Upgraded' funded by the Erasmus+ programme through Ecorys UK, coordinated by Project 2020 CIC and Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) through the their youth centre MultiКулти Mладински Центар / Qendër Rinore and was support by OSCE Mission to Skopje, Kumanovo Municipality and Црвен крст на Република Македонија - Општинска организација Куманово
It was 4th Born 2 Run so far with he biggest number of runners we have ever had reaching over 140 runners.
A big thank you to all those who took part!

Final reflections with tired legs! Our participants from Italy, Turkey, Wales, England, Belgium and Macedonia are winding down from a long and busy week, culminating in many in our races around Kumanovo yesterday, which many of us also ran with big smiles on our faces!
