The place has a potential, but it needs much work - and refurbishing. Not the best conditions, comparing prices of similar facilities in Skopje, for example. Good location, though.

Best hostel ever. Filip is an amazing host and he will do everything to make all the guests feel like home. Cosy and lovely atmosphere. Agartha hostel is a place to relax and make friends. Ohrid lake is magical 😊

I had a longer stay at Agartha and to say that it was good is a bit of an understatement. It is superb! I got to know the family, the staff and to see their hard work to take care of the guests were inspiring. I quickly became part of the amazing spirit at the hostel and I got to experience a lot of good days in Ohrid with them. Nice day trips to the beaches, cooking or grilling for all the guests in the evening. If youre lucky you'll get to eat Filip, the owners mom's bean stew or the guys pizzas at pizza nights. We had nights when we played guitar, drums and tambourine, instruments that's free for all to use. So many good memories that it's hard to fit them here without writing a whole novel, you have to go there and experience it yourselves! Such a good vibe there and on top of that the facilities are top notch. Like Arnold once said: "-I'll be back!"

Best hostel in ohrid! Philip the owner is very friendly and helps wherehe can. At night, he babeques for the guests, and when we needed a place to eat for 90 people he took his bike and ten minutes later we had the best place on ohrid to eat and celebrate.

Loved my stay at Agartha hostel. Philip the owner is super helpful and friendly. He showed me around and was very knowledgeable about the region. The hostel is cozy, clean and has a great breakfast! Ohrid is beautiful! It is very worth visiting!! I felt at home and would love to come back!

Where to start ? The hostel is located very close to the city center, and everything is a walking distance, but what is most important is Filip and his mom, who run this hostel will make you feel like a part of the family. Conversations about culture and baiscally anything come free with the stay and you can learn a lot and spend awesome time. If you like to meet amazing and inspirative people who are eager to help in any way and want to have an amazing time in Ohrid I would definitely recommend staying in this hostel :) Hope I see you guys very soon
