Other nearby private parks are far more affordable especially if you are travelling with a large group. We are residents of Madagascar. Unfortunately the duty manager frankly was unashamedly discriminative. On sight of us, she instantly wanted to charge us the exorbitant visitor price and refused to change her mind even on sight of our documents. Very disappointing behaviour. Also be picky with your choice of guide. Some promise alot. See the lemurs at Vakona! Far more affordable, enjoy the relaxing canoe ride and you will definitely see lemas up close there

For most visitors it is all about lemurs. One nees a good guide ( person not book) to find them.

Rainforest as it should be! We did a 5 our tour with a guide. We spotted our first Lemurs of this trip. It looks like you walk into a National Geographic documentary. Very nice!

Real jungle-ish. Not many visitors. We were lucky to see a family of Black and White lemurs. And on the way back jus above the road a large group of golden lemurs. They were shy and not used to people. So they flew away in the bush . Just out of sight waiting us to go cause we were at their fruittree.

The guide was really nice, you can always be sure to see the indri indri and also there is a high probability to see the sifaka. When we visited we saw 2 indri families. The only downside is that is pretty pricey compared to the other natural parks.

Very nice park, where you can see lemurs in their natural habitat. Most of it is primary Forest. It's more complicated to get there but much less people, so it never really gets crowded. You don't get the "zoo" feeling of some other small parks.
