  Best food in Antsirabe! Biggest variety with lots of international influences (each well done) though with an emphasis on local ingredients. Seriously awesome menu! They also have draft beers (only place I've seen in Madagascar with beers on draft) and they're definitely superior to the bottled ones. The owner is very friendly and loves to chat with people hanging out at the bar. Really, if you're in Madagascar and you want good food, you can't beat L'insolite!

  you would think a place that serves pho bo, zebu steak with foie gras, butter chicken and fajitas on the same menu would completely miss the mark on each of those, especially in this random corner of madagascar. not so! the food here is amazing and the ingredients are noticeably fresh (real greens in the salads!!). it doesn't take forever to get your food either, so you can continue ordering more stuff once you realize how delicious everything is. the cheese plate is a must - the owner has collected delicious cheeses (and wine) from all over Madagascar. If you find yourself in Antsirabe you have to go here for lunch or dinner (or both!).

  Cozy place with a mix of locals and tourists who hang out here. The barman is quite a personality. The food is good and the menu is very diverse.

  Nice bar/pub/eatery. Items on the menu are a mix of dishes from all over the world, the the food is tasty. Very reasonable prices.

  The best pub/resto in Antsirabe, and by far I should say. The owner, Sam, is such a cool and friendly guy, and is very chatty. You would not regret your time spent there. Also it's the place to be if you want to watch any football matches. Price is also very affordable, and food is great! I highly recommend this place for anyone who's going through Antsirabe.
