(Refers to the coastal access 25 km south of Belo sur Mer.)
The coastal sand dunes are beautiful here, and we saw our only Greater Flamingo. But access is very difficult - a 4-5 hour 4-wheel drive (or 3 hour boat) from Morondava to Belo sur Mer and a 90 to 150-minute boat ride one way to the park, the flamingo was distant, and the other birdlife was more accessible elsewhere, for instance at Kirindy Forest Reserve north of Morondava. Best if you'd like to hang out on the beautiful white-sand beaches for a few days at Belo, a very pleasant, isolated, fishing village.
Day and night visits to the forest and visitor would see lemurs, fossa, boa, many interesting insects, geckos etc. here. Highly recommended.
There are basic accommodation, and a nice restaurant on site at this campus.
Lovely forest with a lot of wildlife to see. Lovely staff and good food
Great beaches,great hiking area,great people,
This place is awesome there are many awesome animals here I recommend you go to see them 🐵🐛🐍🐠🐜😀
If you like wild nature, this a place to be. No tourists, no comfort but friendly staff and a lot to see. Look for Kirindy on Youtube and you'll see what I mean. It wasn't on our agenda, but due to heavy rainfall we couldn't reach the Tsingy. We took this as an alternative and were very glad we did.
Not so great but good
