This is the only place on Madagascar (and probably even on the earth), where you can see a group of baobabs grandidieri in one place. You can buy here some souvenirs for a great price. It is a two day ride from Antanarivo or about 2 hours ride from Morondava. You don't need 4wd to access this road.

This place is about 10km out of a shanty town called Morondava. Not much happens there. The people in Madagascar tend to think boababs are found on this island only. I've seem bigger boabab all over Africa so was disappointed. No restaurants nearby, no toilets, bumpy dirty road. Just beggers and dirty kids loitering around.

Beautiful despite being the local.tourist attraction. Unfortunately, the country is being destroyed by pollution (Chinese factories polluting massively), deforestation, and plastic.

마다가스카르를 가신다면 놓치지 마세요! It was awesome. If you have plan to visit Africa, please do not miss hear. It would take time and cost but it is closer from Africa than your home.

Only in Madagascar you find 6 of the 9 species of Baobab trees in the world. Amazing view!

Extremely touristic but it definitely worth it. The twilight is awesome enough to forget about the people and the baobabs are marvelous also in daylight!

There are other Boababs as big and photogenic as these nearby, but this has become a minor tourist attraction with kids begging etc.

One of the most beautiful places in Madagascar. It is not easy to arrive. But it is worth and you can combine in 1 day excursion with Kirindi Forest. (4x4 required for Kirindi)
Tipfortravelers:At sunset, the light is perfect but a lot of tourist. If you go early in the morning is also beautiful and a few people.
