  While the park itself is in need of some TLC, the historical significance of the park cannot be understated. It stands at one end of Independence Avenue for a reason. All major political protests start in this speaking area and move down the avenue once they reach critical mass. Come with a guide to explain for a full appreciation of this place.

  Too full and only has a single entrance/exit - can't use it to avoid walking along the busy road.
