Great food, great fun. Received a valuable lesson in how to eat a fish head. Freshest of the fresh. Nicest people too.

Great place. Best ribs ever! View was spectacular. Beautiful beach and get to see private planes on final approach. Highly recommend.

Had a nice lunch with my friends. The price is okay but I was not very impressed with the food. Had a great view of the sea and great company.

A must stop for good simple fare, fresh cheap and tasty, we got chicken, lobster, grilled corn on the cob, slaw, johnny cakes, fried plantain, with a couple Heineken and soft drinks, food for family of 4 cost less than $40.

Locally Owned Locally Operated Lolo, great local food. One of my favorite spots. However best to go during the day as after Irma its a bit dark for parking.
Try the red snapper, spare ribs, Johnny cakes and plantains. For drinks Pina Colada, Planters Punch, Ti Punch.

Fantastic food, lively atmosphere, bit of a wait - but HUGE portions. We visited July 1, 2017 for a late supper after a sunset wine cruise. Parking was a nightmare, but our little Kia was tucked into a tiny spot on a crowded street before long (it was funny watching the locals watch us squeeze into the opening. They definitely didn't think we could do it), and we made the short walk up the block to find an open table at Cathy's. All of the options were hopping, but we spotted an open table and were drawn in by the smells. It turned out to be an excellent choice! I split a plate with my mother since we weren't starving, and the guys each ordered their own plates. The drinks were pretty good and not weak, but we had a hard time ordering a second round. The food came out pretty quickly and we all cleaned our plates. After we finished our second round of drinks, we returned to the car happy to find that the case of beer we'd purchased before the grocery store closed was still secure in our car. A winner in our books, and we're glad we had the experience.

Sky is the limit has some of the best Johnny cakes on the island. They also have great local plates at a very affordable price.

Let me begin with the fact that this place is very crowded. Due to the fact that it's crowded, you must expect the service to be slow. Now, to come here just have patience. I've been here three times. The food is great, the servers (most) do their best and the location is perfect (I'm staying at the Grand Case Resort). The menu is large and everything is extremely tasty. I usually get sick from eating Caribbean food when I travel and this was just fine. I mostly sticked with chicken and fish. I did not try steak so I can't say anything about that. Nonetheless, the grilled chicken, Mac and cheese, rice and beans, and fish cakes are all amazing!

Review for Talk of the Town. We were pleasantly surprised with how quick, flavorful and inexpensive the food was. Super casual, but ribs tasted good ($6 for a big portion, sides are extra) and beer was cold and cheap ($2 each for any beer, including red stripe). They took US dollars at same rate as Euro as well, which was nice. Servers didn't look very cheery, but they did their job well and were dealing with a lot of heat. We had dinner down the street at a fancy French place and paid 5x the price and didn't enjoy the food. We'd definitely come back here. The smell alone draws you in but the price leaves you really happy!

Love coming here when I visit the island. I am from the Dutch side, and I visit the Dutch side, but I always make an extra trip to the French side for the food here. It's always great, the people are always great too

I was really hoping to find good bbq here after a few bad experiences with other bbq joints on the island, and these ratings showed promise that unfortunately didn't pan out. Ribs were dry, as was the chicken. We also had fish which was delicious as was the potato salad, but this is a bbq place which has failed to satisfy. Furthermore, they do not offer home made sauces as you would expect - instead they offer you Kraft bbq sauce..literally, don't ask for other options because their aren't any.

There are about four independent BBQ places side by side here. We ate ate the one behind Cynthia's. It was excellent, I would say the best meal we have had on the island so far (they have all been great though). I had the mahi and fried plantains, my wife had shrimp, potatoes salad, and johnny cakes. This is a must try place for lunch while in grand case.

You can't go wrong with the lolo in Grand Case St Martin. Cheap and the food is fresh. We always enjoy the lolo. A must try when in St Martin.

Not sure if this was the joint we stopped in, or one adjacent, but all smelled great -- open fire grilling ribs and such, and lots of seafood. Prices can't be beat, very informal. Great vibe.

This is a review of the Caribbean BBQ food venders in this area called Lolo's as I believe that is generic for local BBQ. Lobster was tasty and the complimentary johnny cakes were exceptional. Go at sunset as there are Beach views from certain vendor locations.

This review is the Lolo called Talk of Town. Food is traditional local and inexpensive for the area. Food is okay. salad is iceberg lettuce, yuck. The service was bad and I found the wait staff to be super rude, and I couldn't believe how they hovered over my shoulder and pointed to credit card receipt for me to sign RIGHT NOW! without giving me a chance to go over what i am signing. I had to go ask for person at register to let me see what I had sign because waitress snatched out of my hand. unfortunately had bad experience with staff on two separate occasions, really felt like waitresses were really really rude and frowning the whole time. Do not call me "sweetie" , who the hell are you to be calling someone that? Inappropriate, seriously. Would not go back, but I do say the Ice cream is really good.
