IDIOTES! Grand IDIOTES!
TO BE DISAPPOINTED IS NOT ENOUGH TO SAY!
We are in St Martin 7days already and we tried most of the restaurants in Grand Case and tonight we wanted to give a chance to La Cottage. Well here is the story:
From the start not polite or welcoming, well hoped they would get more welcoming as we seat but not really, WALKED IN AND WANTED TO SIT ON FRONT TABLE FACING THE STREET AMD THE WAITER WENT INSIDE TO ASK IF WE CAN SIT THERE THEN MANAGER CAME AND TOLD US THAT TABLE IS FOR 4 PERSONS AND WE CAN NOT SIT THERE, SO WE SETTLED FOR NEXT TABLE BY THE WALL, TWO MINUTES AFTER ANOTHER COUPLE AND THEY HAVE THEM SEAT AT THE SAME TABLE WE ASKED TO SIT. THAT WAS SO NOT NICE AND RUDE , WE GOT UP AND WALKED AWAY TO HE RESTAURANT DOWN THE ROAD THAT WE ALREADY BEEN THERE.
By the way our average bill for the dinner usually comes at beyond $200 ,we like fine wines :)
They lost our business
This tells you a lot of the mentality of and management ENOUGH SAID!

lobster menu excellent, service at the beginning good, but later on we had to wait too long for the main course and the dessert. considering the prices the service should be better. might have been that only we were a little bit unlucky

Always a good experience at this restaurant. Great service and food. The rolls were hard to start, but the waiter immediately noticed, apologized, and replaced them with fresh.

L'un , si ce n'est le meilleur restaurant de l'île. . Des plats raffinés préparés par un chef ayant travaillé dans des palaces parisiens , un sommelier extra qui saura vous conseiller le meilleur vin de leur cave très riche en excellents crus .. il y a même une formule où l'on vous sert un verre de vin idéalement choisit en fonction de chacun de vos plats. un service irréprochable. . vous pouvez même découvrir leur nouveau menu et beaucoip d'autres choses sur leur site webbref une expérience gustative rare!!!!! un vrai gastro
