  Had the squid stuffed with shrimp. Was excellent. Friend had a really nice schnitzel. We sat right by the water. Fantastic atmosphere.

  Had one of the best meals of my life here. Service was great. EXCELLENT calamari. Loved the caviar especially. Everything was so perfect. It was such a great experience eating my lunch next to the water in the sun. Dying to go back.

  Its the typical main street tourist trap! Its prime location next to the harbour and the entry to old town, doesnt compensate the food. I think the dishes are overpriced for the quality. I would suggest to skip this tourist trap and look for a small local Restaurant with a better and more fair priced menue.

  After some bad experiences in other restaurant in the city, this was such a pleasant surprise. Great food, good house wine, great environment, but what impressed me the most: great service! In my opinion, this last one was so hard to find in Budvar! The only thing that bothered me isn't their fault, which is smoking on every table near byWish Europe had "smoking areas" everywhere. Price was fair! Would definitely recommend this!

  Stopped in Budvar as part of a day trip to the beautiful trip and was recommended this place by the guide, usually take this with a pinch of salt but I was starving so got a table. Ordered the Rump steak for 15 Euros, service was good and drinks and food were served promptly, Steak was surprisingly bigger than expected, cooked medium to well done (there was no choice!) but tasty, came with fries, small salad and rice.

  The owner is a charismatic old guy who looks like a mafia boss. The food is touristy, but the location is wonderful, with a view of the sea. The staff is fantastic and friendly.

  Nice local food and lovely staff. The owner of the restaurant and bar is very nice as well as the waiters. Older, "old school" gentlemen but they're great.

  Good but not great food. Had a really nice, older server in the back garden. Great service.
  One think we didn't like it was either the owner or the manager of that establishment, who every couple minute was yelling at our server, telling him what to do during busy dinner time.
  That's why our experience was very uncomfortable!
  First: YOU DON'T DO IT ON THE FLOOR DURING THE SERVICE!!!
  Second: MOVE YOUR ASS AND HELP HIM!!!
  I left 20% Tip, not sure if the poor waiter even got it!
  Will never go back, because of the management/ownership!
