Cheap flight to here from budapest. However, how to get out of Podgorica airport is very tricky. No reliable source of information about public bus info. Taxi in front of the airport acts like mafia. Terrible experience! Better call a cab or wait for arrival cab and get back to town.

Despite being small, this airport is pretty good! It's run well and is efficient. Additionally, there are some food and drinks that are quite fairly priced. In my experience, food and drink is almost universally expensive in airports, relative to the cities they serve. There are a few exceptions (UK airports are generally good in this regard) and Podgorica seems to be one. There is a fairly expensive cakes and coffee place, but as you can see from my pictures, there are vending machines offering very affordable coffee and snacks.

The airport is very small. We tried to rent a car and we spent nearly 4 fricking hours! :( And there was nobody. the car rental attendant wasn't that good. The coffee at least was fine. :)

A little, clean airport with fast service, 2 little traffic shops and a cafe outside. Process are higher than in the rest of the country.
Staff can speak a way better English than the people in the country but it is not a very high level either.
There is a free wifi but very low and hard to connect.
Transport from/to the airport:
* I didn't see any buses, I don't think there's any,
* taxi drivers are a bit agressive and they will follow you to use their services. They are overpriced, could ask for €10+ per person,
* if you walk a bit away from the airport (till the highway/main road through the left, which is about a 10 minute walk), you can get a taxi for a much better price (it's a backpacker hack). Someone will stop and offer you a good price. The three of us got to the city for €10.
* there is a train stop called Aerodrom about 30 min walk from the airport (you can see it on the map, staff won't tell you). Check the train times on the internet before flight because it's not frequent. If it worth waiting, it's just €1,20 (adult price) for the 7 minute journey to the city.
I think if they will get better in English speaking, information-giving and airport shuttles, they will get more stars. :)

If you want to get your weekly impression of this country wiped out - just go to this airport and let be kicked out on 11pm. They are closing this and make tourists wait outside all night in cold. It's so ridicolous. We are freezed Worst airport in Europe for sure.

Very small airport. Not sure why bus cannot stop in front of terminal; my bus had to park in the parking lot and then we had to walk with luggages to the terminal. Inside terminal, there are only few cafe and shops. So, it's better not to come to airport too early because there is nothing to do. From gate to aircraft, mostly passengers have to walk out from terminal gate to aircraft on ground from my obsevation because there is no passenger bridge connecting between aircraft and terminal.

Take on of the offical yellow taxifrom the airport to the bus terminal and train station, as driving by car is the only way to get their. The offical taxis cost only 6€. Do not get on a privat car with a simple taxi sign on the roof. They will charge you 2-3 times more. The offical cabs are quite rare. Good luck!!!

Infrastructures are quite new and recently renovated. However, the Wi-Fi connection is really unacceptable for an airport (very frequent disconnections and super slow speed). Moreover, there are just two places to eat and drink (one in the inside and one in the outside area) with a very limited food selection.

Maybe it has nothing to do with airport itself and it's staff, but what I really dont like about is navigating through City to Airport. Without the right tips from Locals 99% of times you can't get there by yourself. There is only 1 road sign at the nearest roundabound which is about 1km away from airport. IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE LABELS INDICATING DIRECTIONS TO AIRPORT THROUGHOUT THE CITY!!!
Other than that, airport is OK, Custom and Security is communicative and quick.

Small airport with only a handful of flights each day. Customs and security usually pretty fast as there isn't many people. Has a cafe and duty free in waiting area. Free wifi.

I wish i could rate it 0 !! It's a shame for such a small beautiful country to have such a unprofessional staff, i had move out of Montenegro 15 years ago and been going back every other year with my 4 children and each and every time same nasty people asking for money so they don't have to open your luggages they were two security guard that i had to give each $50 because i had new clothes for my 4 children, i was very disgusted by that it happens every time i go . i really do believe that the staff is there because they know someone ,same thing with the chek in person on the other side wouldn't even give you a eye contact, not even a "have a safe flight " I have traveled the world and never felt this way,very sad to write about my own country but the hospitality it's below 0
Bad experience from the second you get in, this is why a this country will never grow no costumer service what so ever.
