We had so much fun here talking with Mirko and meeting his family. This vineyard is truly a family affair. His wife Dijana is an architect who designed their tasting room that is being built. We tasted the wines in their wine cellar, but they sell their wines at fine restaurants all over Montenegro. Even their daughters get into the fun by helping to bottle their wines. We really enjoyed the Rosé on a hot day, and later that nigh the Chardonnay was gently chilled and went so well with our cheese and crackers in our hotel room.

We especially liked it because it only took us a few minutes to get there from downtown where we were staying. There are also a couple other vineyards close to Mola Family Vineyards worth checking out. This is going to be a great destination area for wine lovers on a business trip to the Capital of Montenegro! There are the big vineyards like Plantaze, and then there are those like Mola Family vineyards. So there is something for everyone who likes wine in Podgorica!
