  Not the same anymore. Before it was spiritual place now is commercialised for tourists to make a money. It's nice but not the same feeling

  Even if your not religious it's amazing to see what they built without modern tools. The road to reach the top is a single lane two way road. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.

  The location of this monastery is absolutely breathtaking. It has been "carved" in the rocks high up in the montains. Amazing history of resilience of Christianity during the Turkish Ottoman presence in the region.
