Monastery of Serbian orthodox church from 13 century is one very nice settlement to visit. The true example of the simple life of the monks that live from their work. They have their own place where they live, simple but nice church, library, fishpond, they produce honey and different sorts of the fruit .. the icon ,the ravens feed the Prophet Elijah" from xvI century is on of the most famous icons in this part of the world

Beautiful and peaceful place. Decorated with colorful flowers. There is a small bridge down the hill and have great view of the canyon.

Small very beautiful Serbian Orthodox church with unusual frescoes and elaborate iconostasis. Look closely at the group frescoes because the stories portrayed are not the standardized ones from Greek Orthodox churches for example. Also check out small chapel on left off entrance/exit as you leave. Stories portrayed there are very different than anything I've seen in Russian or Greek Orthodox. Would have loved to have an explanation or brochure in English.
