  Please note that this is closed in the winter. You will not be able to hike in the winter months as there alot of snow at the top of the mountain, making the travel unpassable.

  Његош је још за живота саградио на Језерском врху капелицу у којој је доцније и сахрањен. По аустријској окупацији Црне Горе у време Првог светског рата, ова је црква срушена (и Његошево тело пренето у Цетињски манастир) да би поново била обновљена у време краља Александра, двадесетих година прошлог века. Тадашња комунистичка власт у Црној Гори је 1970. године почела припреме за њено рушење и изградњу маузолеја који је у стилу бечке сецесије замислио вајар Иван Мештровић. Мештровић, мада светски познат, никада није био на Ловћену

  This place became something magical for me, the circle was so magnetic, I couldn't walk away. All I wanted - just to sit there. In the end of August we couldn't see far because of the smoke (fire in the forest), but nonetheless it was absolutely worth it to come here. Scenic drive, scenic view and terrific atmosphere

  Symbol of Montenegro freedom through the history. One of the five national parks. Home of the white bark pine, unique plant that grows only on Lovcen. On the highest peak Stirovnik is a radio and tv satelite devices. On Lake peak is a grave of our great poet Petar Petrovic II Njegos.

  Great view for all mountains of MNE from the top, but mausoleum itself is not worth paying the entrance fee.

  Beautiful nature. Great place to hike, you can reach the mausoleum at the top. Bit crowded, though, groups of tourists that get loud in a place that should otherwise be peaceful and quiet.

  Every man in this world must se amazing Lovćen. I make one hiking day and beginn from Kotor to Ivanova Korita. Great hiking tour with aamzing view. Every year on this place you have marathon with so many extreme trekkers and runners.
