The only downside for me is no draught beer but otherwise a nice place to sit in the sun and enjoy an exceedingly cheap drink

The best place in Kotor. If you want to feel the spirit of local people, see how drink "locals" go to Invalida! Very cheap, nice people, great atmosphere. You need to try Voćna rakija breskva for 1 euro!

Can be up to half the price of local beers than any other place to drink in Kotor Old Town. Quick and friendly table service. If sitting outside and not served immediately just pop inside and ask for your drinks.

A 'retired sportsmen club', but in reality this is a café on a square, but the best place in Kotor old town for just how unglamourous and no-BS the whole arrangement is. A large beer is 1.5 euros which is a euro cheaper than most of the rest (and they serve bottles of unfiltered Niksicko to boot). The place is full of locals and the number one place to go in the evening for beers if you're not worried about glamour or showing your girlfriend a good time. This is real Montenegro. Look for the sign in Cyrillic and the Niksicko awning above the café - it's adjacent to a bar called Bokun. Don't go there - go here!
