Food was fantastic and service was impeccable. Delightful meal. Despite arriving close to midnight they accommodated us with pleasure. Tomato salad was a highlight, as was the beetroot salad, squid and view. Definitely worth a visit

We had a bad experience at this hotel restaurant. It's a lovely setting on the edge of Kotor bay but so are a lot of other restaurants so my advice would be to look elsewhere. We were a party of 8 people (2 families of 4) and only 3 of us wanted starters but we all ordered main meals. They proceeded to bring the 3 starters and 5 of the main meals at the same time. We questioned why they were bringing us starters and Mains at the same time and we were told that this is normal in Montenegro. Anyway, putting that aside (which is difficult for a supposed 5* restaurant - joke) one of our main courses was cold and another's completely wrong - which the waiter argued that we had orders the dish and he was correct! Eventually he agreed to exchange the wrong dish and 20 minutes later - after we had all finished eating - we were presented with another wrong main course dish which again the waiter insisted that we had ordered. We even had to argue over the bill when they tried to charge us for all of the food they produced at our table - including the dishes we didn't order. A very bad experience in an expensive restaurant - avoid.

We haven't stayed at the hotel(yet), but their restaurant is absolutely stellar! Me and my wife happened to drop in for a bite to eat during our first day in the area, and we were completely blown away. Their fish is easily the best we've ever had, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The dining location out by the water is so beautiful, and the service was just incredible. Our waiter both times was a man named Nikola, and when we go here for our last dinner in Montenegro before going home we were so happy to hear that we'd get him again. Warm, friendly, funny and professional - he made us feel so delighted and welcome and taken care of, recommended the perfect wine for us with ease, brought us exciting little surprises at the end of the meal and truly took the already fantastic experience of dining here to the next level. Next time we visit Montenegro we've decided to try a stay at the hotel, and we'll DEFINITELY be eating here again(and again and again). Fantastic restaurant!

Pleasant but disappointing.
Went there for a treat during our week in Montenegro - the decor and location is initially just beautiful and very enticing. The waiter has very lovely and passionate about food and Montenegro, which was promising. He went on to tell us the story of granny apples - was on the starters menu with roast beef - which was entertaining. When it came out, there was no apple flavour! Found out, they forgot to add it to the beef!!
Our mains were nice but nothing to rave out. Desert was again average, but the cheesecake was awful - no cheesecake flavour and like jelly.
The most expensive meal we had in Montenegro, but far from being the best.response / report this review -

Very fancy hotel right on the coast, with prices to match. A small number of rooms makes for an exclusive feel, with a tiny swimming pool and a bar overlooking the water.
Good staff, attended a wedding there and everything was very well run into early the next morning.response / report this review -

You are a disgrace of Montenegro restaurant business. I can't understand why the placement of guests in the restaurant determines a waiter depending on the supposed order. And why in the case of changes in order, then total decreases, waiter trying to move the guests unceremoniously to little bit worse place. They called this disgusting attitude "home policy". Worst home policy I've ever known.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a pool and small spa in Dobrota, about 8 mins drive from the old town in Kotor. You can also get the bus from the hotel directly to Kotor. The food is high quality but a little expensive however the beer is cheap!
