  Fish and wine bar Aleksandar has delicious food and great wines of Montenegro. Not cheap, but real great.

  We are here at the moment. The hotel is attractive, clean, the food we have had so far is good, staff pleasant BUT BUT BUT there is piped musak in the restaurant from 7am to midnight & it is driving us mad!! We asked for a Seaview. Lovely, BUT our room overlooks the restaurant terrace & there are at least 5 speakers there pumping out the musak too loudly. We still hear it when we close our double glazed door to our balcony. We have complained nicely to reception but so far nothing has been done about it.
  
  The next day..Ahhh, peace and quiet. We can hear the waves from our room. Thank you, Hotel Aleksander. No more music on the terrace, it's now just in the restaurant. Its volume has been turned down & the style of music has changed to a more modern Balkan feel than the re-interpretation of 60's & 70's pop classics all with the same plodding beat. Thanks again, Hotel Aleksander.

  FYI this is a review of the attached Restuarant. Great atmosphere! This place looks and feels like the classy establishment you expect it to be. I ordered chicken, and was a bit disappointed that it came out a bit dry. But I suppose I'm to blame for ordering chicken in a sea food town. Everything else about the restaurant was great. Full drink list, and many local food options.

  I was impressed by the conditions that this hotel offered. Its staff was very professional, polite and hospitable. When it comes to rooms, they were very clean and spacious. I definitely recommend you this hotel!
