The place is close to the bus station and in the city center everything is super close. The staff is super friendly and kind especially spyro (forgot his real name sorry man) and Harriet. They have different types of activities each day. Especially the sunset BBQ is amazing. A nice vibe and atmosphere you feel like home I would have stayed longer if it would have been possible definitely one of the best hostels I have been to.

i arrived to the old town hostel after a 9 hour bus from mostar. the hostel is right in the old town and is only a 5 min walk from the bus station. when i arrived i was struck by the beauty of the buildings that this hostel is located over a few different building. its such a great feature that they are in the original old town buildings that have been modernised inside with well fitted out bathrooms, super fast wifi and comfy beds.

i stayed in one of there private rooms that was nice and cozy with heaters for the winters and aircon for the humid summers. everything i could want and need was there including a small kitchenette next to the room for light food preparation but if your cooking up a feast then they have a big communal kitchen just a few meters away.

there where a few things that made this hostel one of the best that i have stayed in. first was the nightly home cooked evening meal for only €4 its was delicious, they have free events very often including cocktails and barbecue throughout the high season. they also have there own travel tour agency that has some of the best tours on offer in montenegro they can even organise onward travel for you too.

I do not recommend that hostel. During our stay in the dormitory our roommate was bitten by bed bugs. After one day the staff moved us to the room where we also found bed bugs so we had to change room once again. In addition we had to wait for a new room until 1 a.m. because the staff went for a party. We waisted whole day for moving and for laundry. The staff dind't clean our things properly and after a few days we also found bites on our bodies. Bed bugs and staff's behaviour destroyed whole my vacations. Avoid this place!

Avoid Esteban. He is a staff member, and he is extremely bitter and condescending. He makes up outrageous lies about himself to impress strangers. He made it a point to make my stay extremely uncomfortable. Also, wifi sucks there.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at!!! The staff was extremely helpful and the location is in the middle of old town in one of the oldest buildings and still manages to feel quite modern and clean. A lot of things are organized at the hostel so it's a great place for meeting people. Enjoy!!

Fantastic place to stay in the middle of Kotor's old town! Just walked in in the evening and got a wonderful apartment (including kitchen, washing machine and everything else you could ask for) for a very reasonable price. This is a wonderfully charming place right in the middle of the lively old town with extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The guys at old town hostel will welcome you like a friend and have you feeling right at home! They know how to handle adventure as well as a good night in the meandering streets of Kotor! The hostel has a great ambiance, really clean and comfortable rooms, plus the option to have themed home cooked dinners AND breakfast for a cheap fee, would highly recommend. Its perfectly located in the old town, has very convenient access to shops, cafes, and notable attractions. Also worth noting the tour agency 360 Monte is directly across the road and they do unique tours all through Montenegro! Worth checking out.
A special shout out to Danilo who made my stay an absolute pleasure! He even took the time out of his busy schedule to hike up the fortress and beyond! Looking forward to my next stay at Old town hostel!! Thanks Danilo and the guys! 😁

I stayed in an amazing private room overlooking a small plaza. It was very quiet and cozy. They have top notch facilities (shower, kitchen) and they keep everything looking very nice and clean. Perfect for a couple or single person. The location is also perfect, since the grocery store is not too far away and the start of the hike to the fort is right beside the hostel. I went in March and there were almost no tourists! I got a lot for the price I paid!

This place is excellent to spend a couple of days (or more) within the walled Kotor , it is a typical historical house, beautifully restored, and the staff is more than friendly to give recommendations of nearby places or arrange tours. Don't miss the events organized at the common areas: good wine and good food.

Very cool hostel, very old and intriguing.
There are two common areas to hang out in. One serves dinner at night (we did not have). It is a very big hostel (although it doesn't really feel like it) so there was a lot of people everywhere but the room was spacious and felt very secure. There are lockers and we left our luggage on the day we checked out with no issue. Very clean.
