Durmitor with Tara river is among five National parks in Montenegro. It is unique experience to visit this site. It has a lot of glacial lakes from which the most beautiful is Black lake. It is a home of various species of plants, trees, birds and animals. It has a lot of hiking trails in summer and in winter it is a famous ski centre.

Durmitor is a wonderful place. If you want to relax and forget about whole world it's for you. Clean air, mountains, cold lakes and rivers. It's beautiful place.

Beautiful! The hike around the Black lake was great, there was quite a bit of snow in April, but the hike to the mount was still very doable. The lake plus the mountain home took about 6 hours(Stopped a few times to eat and relax). Too bad about the weather, we couldn't see anything past the clouds up top.

Good quiet place to spend a weekend day with friends and family.
During summer - it's a way to run away from hot weather.
During winter still good place for a walk, but some facilities might not be working

Fantastic national park with some great sceneries. Park entry fee is €3 for a day but is more than worth it. Many different walks, hikes, mountaineering routes are available.

It is an incredible place to go and relax while hiking. It has awesome views. You must visit Black Lake. The entrance fee is 3 euro. Keep the receipt because you can enter in the same day in other parts of the national park with it.

Durmitor is amazing in its variety and scope. I would definitely recommended a jeep safari. Combined with rafting the Tara.

Absolutely gorgeous! Must visit. Driving through the park gives you some amazing views. Taking a hike is even better. Careful driving as the roads are thin and very windy.

Beautiful mountains, not so many people, the locals are really friendly. Some places look almost postapocalyptic, abandoned hotels and houses. You will love the atmosphere however.

We stayed in a great airbnb house with a view on Zimnicko lake. It was wonderful - we were picking berries, went swimming in the lake, hiking the wild beautiful mountains If you want a calming holiday in the green nature it is a perfect choice!

Beautiful park. I am one of the tourists brought by bus spending lots of money in your country so let's not think my presence is a negative please. We walked around the lake. Nice local mushrooms honey and raspberries for sale. We bought some lovely raspberries would have enjoyed walking some of the nature trails in the park. Looks beautiful. Even with our presence it was very quiet and peaceful.
