A nice hike starting from the lake with the chance to take some shortcuts to make it a little bit more adventurous. Too bad we somewhere missed the difference between a "real" shortcut and a path created by other hikers. At the end we reached another top then expected.

It's a small, but really unique national park. There are several (2-3) places in the mountains to sleep, usually they offer nice huts. It's worth to stay here at least one night. There are many nice peaks to climb and the locals are really friendly, while the calm of the nights in the NP is amazing.

Beautiful prehistorical forest which is irreversibly damaged by people. Prices may be low, but there's not much to offer at all. I really don't understand why they allow tents if there's a sign saying beware of the wild bears. I also don't understand why this is still a national park that's meant to preserve nature, while there's a barely legal concrete building with pipes that are coming right at the glacial lake. See for yourself.

Fantastic nature in NP Biogradska Gora , so wild but so calm beauty. Awesome scenery, fascinating landscape, fresh air. Close to Kolasin, very nice area. So much trails to hike, we always enjoy a lot.

Beautiful place on the way to the seaside. Go as earlier as you can because in the afternoon is quite crowded.

Travelled from Kolasin via taxi - 12 eur one-way, booked via tourist info centre. Several hiking paths available leading to different viewpoints. If relatively fit, allow 15mins per km and you should be fine. Views from Bendovac over the lake are beautiful. Went during winter so most facilities were closed. Entrance to park was 3 eur p/p

The hike up Bendovac is on a vehicle access path which is well marked, and the views from the summit over looking the Mojkovac district are stunning. The information office in Kolasin stated the ascent from the Biogradska Gora lake (taxi price there & back from Kolasin was 24euro) would take no longer than 1.5hrs. We did attempt this hike early December, so there was snow as we approached the last 1.5km to the summit. Being relatively fit hikers it took us 2.5hrs to reach the summit and 1.5 return, so 4hrs total and that was rushing back to our taxi which we had pre booked. I would definitely recommend the hike but give yourself plenty of time to enjoy.

Very pretty little lake with cabins constructed with USAid money. Building a center overlooking the lake. Tiny gift shop and another tiny explanation center.
