  Biggest cemetery in Europe, over 300k graves. Wish the staff would do some clean up around there and pick up the trash, trim the grass, etc.

  Very impressive graveyard. The biggest one in Europe. Famous persons are a former USSR footballplayer and the widow of Alexander Pushkin. Administration is open on weekdays from 7-20h. For 30 lei they give you the place of a persons grave. Its easy to find because the graveyard is divided in block, they give u blocknumber, row and gravenumber. Its allowed to drive on the roads in the graveyard with a car for 10 lei, but I advice to take a walk en sense the silence and peace. Next to the graveyard is an old WW2 graveyard for German soldiers

  В кассе можно получить справочную информацию о месте захоронения в случае необходимости. Информация точная, а у входа на кладбище есть большой план с указанием кварталов. Мне сильно помогли и поиск покойных родственников занял совсем немного времени

  Very interesting cemetery here in Chisinau. If you have a free day with nothing to do come here and take a few hours to roam around.
